Dear Galen Greer:
I visited your store... to purchase two 64-quart bags of potting soil from your garden department. As I waited in line for the cashier to scan my items, an extremely polite employee named Jacob asked if he could help put the bags in my car for me. He was accompanied by a very kind and caring woman in a “Camp Horizons†shirt. (Unfortunately, I didn’t ask her name.)
I was very impressed with Jacob. He was courteous, friendly and very efficient. His “partner†was also friendly and explained to me that Jacob was a very strong young man who was definitely willing and able to assist me. Together they were a very good team.
When I got home, I went online to find out more about Horizons. I learned about their employment program and job coaches. I congratulate Home Depot on its involvement with the Horizons organization. I know the value of good customer service. (I recently retired as Director of Communications and Public Relations for a large state agency.) Jacob is a fine example of the kind of enthusiastic worker I would have been proud to have on my staff.
Home Depot is to be commended for its commitment to quality customer service. Jacob and his partner are a credit to the Home Depot staff.
Very truly yours,
