We offer day services through Supported Employment and Options, transition education through Education Support Services, camp recreation and respite through Summer Camp and Weekends in the Country and residential supports through Supported Living. Please visit those pages for more details.
You may donate directly through the yellow “donate button” online! Additionally, checks can be mailed to Horizons, Inc. PO Box 323 South Windham, CT 06266. We also accept donations of stock.
We have campers starting at age 8 and do not age out!
As of now we have positions for staff starting at age 16 for junior staff. Cabin and Program staff are age 18 and above.
We have opportunities to volunteer helping us to keep our grounds up, fundraise, provide programming for our participants and on summer intake days. All of the staff who work with our participants are trained and employed.
Horizons is a private, non-profit 501c3. We work closely with the state of Connecticut through the Department of Developmental Services which provides funding for many of our participants to attend or be supported.

Yes, Horizons Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, headquartered in Connecticut. Contributions to Horizons are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law.
