Since 1979, Horizons Summer Camp has been a breath of fresh air for campers and their families. Offered for eight weeks each summer, our camp provides campers opportunities to explore activities such as Swimming, Arts, Camp Crafts, Health and Fitness, Performing Arts, Pioneering, Science, Music, Language Arts and Physical Education and more with the help of engaging and well-trained instructors. Campers and counselors bunk together in comfortable cabins.
Camp Horizons offers all of the experiences you might expect to find in a summer camp…and more! Our staff work with each camper to provide individualized attention to his or her special area of need, including maintenance of academic skills, socialization, personal hygiene, independence, and development of leisure time skills. Campers attend three programs in the morning and four in the afternoon. Evening activities are opportunities for the entire camp to come together for entertainment such as campfires, dances, movies, field games and music.
* Other programs your camper will experience include: music, performing arts, health & fitness, activities, movement & dance, boating, and science.
